Machine Head, man, I don't know. they had an album in the late 90s called Burn My Eyes that I had on the back side of a dub tape of Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss. They were on Roadrunner Records, I think, or whatever label Type O Negative was on, because a friend of mine was obsessed with them and had a label video collection that included Machine Head's debut video. download that whole album, if you can. "Davidian" was the single, and maybe you could find the video.
later on, the band changed a lot and sort of became part of the rapcore scene, and I wasn't so into that.
I haven't ever really listened to Motorhead, honestly. And while I can appreciate the influence of Sabbath and Iron Maiden, blah blah blah, truth be told I can't fucking stand Ozzie or Dickenson. Sepultura is an interesting band, one that I've always liked but never really got into.
but you're absolutely right about Pantera. I don't know how the hell I missed them.
